General Information

Formtex Ultra Extra 19 mm fire hose from SVEBAB is a semi-rigid, flexible woven hose for replacing the hose on all types of fire hose reels. The hose keeps its shape without pressure, so it can be pulled out and used quickly. It weighs only about one third of a traditional rubber or plastic hose and has low friction against surfaces, making it easy to pull around corners and through tight spaces.

Smelteblekk 182 °C

Fusible link 182 °C (Buckeye FL-360-10) is the heat detector in the Buckeye Kitchen Mister kitchen fire suppression system. When the nominal rating of 182 °C is reached, the link separates and releases the tension in the detection cable, so the system is actuated automatically and mechanically – no power required.

  • Nominal temperature rating: 182 °C (360 °F)
  • Maximum ambient temperature at the mounting location: 149 °C (300 °F)
  • Manufacturer / type: Globe Technologies ML
  • Buckeye pack model FL-360-10, part no. FL36010
  • 10 fusible links per pack

The temperature rating is selected after measuring the temperature at the mounting location, so that normal cooking does not actuate the system. The link is installed in the detection cable by an authorised Buckeye installer in accordance with the BFR-TM technical manual.

The Buckeye manual requires all fusible links to be replaced at the service, which must be carried out at least every six months. After a discharge, new links are installed before the system is put back into service.
