Firestop Graphite-based Sealant
General Information

FIRESAFE EX sealant is a fire-retardant, heat-expanding graphite sealant. The sealant reacts to heat and expands at 150 °C. It expands more than 13 times its original volume after 30 min at 550 °C with 5 bar pressure. The sealant seals flammable penetrations and cavities within a few minutes.

✓ Hardening time: 1-2 mm per 24 hours, depending on thickness
✓ Paintable after 24 hours
