General Information

NOHA supply hose Ø19 mm is the flexible water connection between the valve and the reel inlet in NOHA fire hose reel cabinets. The hose has an integrated spring that keeps it stable and prevents kinking when the cabinet door and reel swing out. Supplied with hose clamps.

The springs must face the inlet, and the door must open 180° without the hose being stretched or rubbing against the reel cover. The supply hose is included in the annual inspection and 5-year pressure test to EN 671-3 and is replaced in case of leakage, cracks or damage.

NOHA swan neck Ø25 mm (NOHA-KS) is the connection piece between the reel outlet and the hose on NOHA fire hose reels manufactured after 2002. The swan neck is part of the NOHA KS quick-coupling system, designed for easy and secure connection, and is supplied loose for coupling to NOHA fire hose.

When the swan neck is replaced, the reel must be pressure tested to EN 671-3 (5-year inspection) so that the connection still meets the functional requirements. Use only original NOHA parts to maintain the performance and conformity of the reel.

Mount the AED visibly and within easy reach, and register it in the national AED register. Keep a spare set of pads available and check the status indicator regularly.

Røde Kors Førstehjelp recommends keeping two sets of pads available when buying an AED or replacing pads, so the AED can quickly be put back into service after an incident. Check the expiry date during the regular AED inspection.
