General Information

Buckeye BFR-SCC-50 cable clamps hold the flexible cable sheath in place along the designed run of the Buckeye Kitchen Mister kitchen fire suppression system. The clamps are used with Buckeye Shielded Cable, for example BFR-SC-100, in the mechanical installation. The pack contains 50 clamps.

The clamps anchor the sheath so that it stays in place while the cable can still move freely. Location and number of fixings are adapted to the installation according to the Buckeye BFR-TM technical manual, and mounting and function testing are carried out by an authorised Buckeye installer.

Clamps, fixings and sheath are checked at the service, at least every six months, and loose or damaged clamps are put right.

FIRESAFE Cable Sleeve square is specially developed for several applications as it has a divisible lid in the longitudinal direction that can be removed so that the sleeve can also be used on existing cable or electrical conduit made of plastic. FIRESAFE Cable Sleeve square is made of 1 mm thick powder-coated steel in the color red. The cable sleeve is internally coated with a heat-expanding laminate mounted in the middle of the cable sleeve which quickly closes the penetration in the event of a fire. In addition, FIRESAFE Cable Sleeve square contains cold smoke sealing in the form of black plugs at each end.

Spiral spring for 25 mm fire hose (SVEBAB BPF025UX) is fitted on the hose at fire hose reels and hydrant cabinets and prevents the hose from kinking or being squeezed at the connection. The spring fits 25 mm Formtex Ultra Extra and is made of stainless spring steel.

The spring keeps the hose open so that water flows freely when the hose is pulled out in different directions. It is checked at the annual inspection of the hose reel and replaced if it is deformed or damaged.
