AVD fire extinguisher 6L, for lithium-ion battery fires
General Information
CGS LITHEX6 6 L AVD extinguisher is designed for fire suppression on lithium-ion batteries up to 500 Wh and small class A fires in materials such as wood and paper. The water in the AVD agent cools, while the vermiculite forms a protective layer over the fire.

Apply AVD from 1–2 m with sweeping movements until the cylinder is empty, and wear safety glasses – batteries can explode and eject particles. Do not approach a rapidly growing fire, and keep the escape route clear. The AVD agent is replaced every five years, and the extinguisher must be refilled by an authorised service workshop after each use.
