Discharge adapter kit for external cylinder mounting. For Buckeye kitchen fire suppression systems.
General Information

Buckeye BFR-CAP remote cylinder adapter is used when the release unit of the Buckeye Kitchen Mister kitchen fire suppression system is located separately from the agent cylinder, or when several cylinders are to be actuated together. The valve cap is fitted to the cylinder valve and connected to the release unit with copper tubing, so the cylinder is actuated pneumatically from a distance.

A BFR-CAP is required on every cylinder that is actuated remotely. The gasket between the valve cap and the cylinder valve must be undamaged and correctly seated. Tubing and the number of cylinders are sized according to the Buckeye BFR-TM technical manual, and installation and function testing are carried out by an authorised Buckeye installer.

Valve cap, gasket and pneumatic connection are checked at the service, at least every six months.

Sealing makes it easy to see whether the cabinet has been opened. Place the cabinet clearly visible and signed, and check the extinguisher inside during routine inspection.
